Paglalarawan
Ang insulating nylon standoff ay disenyo upang maiwasan na magkabidang ang mga parte at huminto sa electrical shorts. Mayroon kaming nylon standoff na may metal inserts, karaniwan ang brass insert.
Babae-babae standoff, tinatawag ding threaded spacer, ito'y may babae na butas sa parehong dulo ng bahagi. Ang disenyo na ito ay para sa isang screw ng lalaking standoff upang makuha sa alinman sa dulo. Ang Hex flats ay gumagawa ng madali ang pagkuha ng standoff habang inilalagay.
Ang Male-female Standoff ay may nakapag-iwang stud sa isang dulo, ang kabilang dulo naman ay isang heksagonal o bilog na katawan na may babae na sugidan, ito ay disenyo para sa pagsasabit ng printed circuit board o iba pang elektronikong komponente kung kailangan ng malapit na kontrol sa sukat.
Round standoff, kilala rin bilang female to female standoff, ay disenyo upang mag-connection ng dalawang piraso ng material.
