Description

Hex slotted nut, also name as castle nut, it has grooves where the cotter pin can be inserted into, the mated bolt or stud has a pre-drilled hole on thread, the cotter pin goes through the hole and lay on the grooves of slotted nut,thus we can lock the bolts in place to prevent them from loosing or loosing. The castle nuts are usually used on car axles to hold on wheels and bearings.
