Description
Allen key, also named hex key, allen wrench, is a driver bit for screws or bolts with internal hexgaonal recessess. It is typically in a L shape with two arms of unequal length.
Allen keys are available in sizes from 0.7mm~36mm, imperial size from 1/16''~5/8'';
They are typically made of hardened steel, like 45# steel, alloy steel to promise large torque. Material surface is usually nickle plated, chrome plated, black or zinc plated.
Different from hex key, torx keys are used to turn bolts and screw with torx recess.
