Description

Lynch Pin, also called linchpin, it features a solid shank pin with a self locking O ring, the ring can snap down to lock the pin in place and easy to release. Linchpin is usually used in farm, gardens, lawns.

Lynch pin is part of hitch pin, it can be used with the hitch pin or L bent pin to form a hitch pin kit. In this case, lynch pin will be attached to a lanyard or a chain.

Hitch pin, also called trailer pin

Hitch pins are made of high tensile solid steel, mechanical property can reach grade 5 or grade 8, this makes it strong enough for towing needs. Usually hitch pin are used with R clip cotter pin, which locks the the pin in place. There are detent hitch pin which has locking balls instead of a hole with R clip.

Make sure the ID of the hole in the side of the receiver is known when you choose a hitch pin.
