Description
Self drilling screw, known as tek screw, is a type of self tapping screw, the difference is it has its drill point which can be used as a drill bit, thus it does not need a pre-drilled hole. They are designed for sheet metal fabrication and metal frame construction.
Self drilling screw material can be stainless steel 304/316, hardened 410, 1022 steel , bi-metal, stainless steel 304/316 is popular because it has great property on anti-rust , but material itself is soft, usually stainless steel drilling screws is designed for aluminum sheets, but can not be used for steel sheets.
Self drilling screw head types includes hex washer head, pan head, csk flat head, truss head, cut head, head type can be chosen in head type list or custom per drawing.
